This is Lee's favorite go-to dish for anytime he needs a quick and filling meal without breaking a sweat. Turmeric is added to give not only a beautiful golden hue, but gives the mix its distinct flavor. Turmeric is thought to also have anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce the risk of illnesses like dementia, Alzheimer’s, and even cancer. The addition of guacamole and salsa give it a great punch of flavor that will leave you coming back for more each time! Fill up with our healthy Easy Chickpea Sweet Pea Mix!

Ingredients
1 can chickpeas, rinsed
1/3 cup of guacamole
1/3 cup of your favorite salsa
1 tsp of Tumeric (or more)
1/2 to 1 cup of peas
Preparation
Step 1
Drain the chickpeas and place in a medium bowl. Add the peas (make sure they are thawed), salsa, guacamole and tumeric. Stir until blended. Refigerate for up to 3 days.
